As Executive Vice President, Rob oversees and manages the HVAC department, including the mechanical CAD team, new construction, service, and maintenance, while also negotiating all of the company’s HVAC contracts. He supervises all purchases made through vendors and subcontractors and is involved in managing the in-house sheet metal and fabrication shop.

Rob was instrumental in building F&G Mechanical’s HVAC Division and has helped the company become one of the leading mechanical contractors in the Northeast. His knowledge, experience, and ability to build and maintain relationships have made him a highly respected leader in the mechanical contracting and construction industry. 

Expertise

Rob has 38 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry and has worked with F&G Mechanical for the last 35 years. He began his career with the company as a draftsman and worked his way through various positions in the field, the shop, purchasing, estimating, and project management, before becoming Executive Vice President. Prior to joining F&G Mechanical, he worked as an auto-body mechanic and a sheet metal sketcher.

Rob is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Data Center Dynamics, and the 7x24 Data Center Exchange.

The Personal Side

When not working, Rob enjoys spending time with his family in Upstate New York. He also enjoys water sports, riding his motor cycle and quads, snowmobiling, playing golf, and traveling.
